i was absolutely disgusted by the state of the room—damp, and the bed was practically a shoebox. also, the pictures online are deceiving. i expected a complimentary upgrade for my stay, honestly. how could they treat me so poorly when they knew my arrival time? i could have given them a good review, but just couldn’t.

Chiverton Arms has a welcoming atmosphere.
My experience was marred by a series of disappointing issues. To top it off, I could hear every little noise from adjacent rooms, which severely affected my evening.

The extensive menu featured delicious food with highlights on cottage cheese, and the friendly staff ensured prompt breakfast service even at an early hour. the noise level from nearby guests was noticeable, detracting from the overall experience. While the room was spacious and impeccably clean, the boisterous atmosphere during events can be a downside for light sleepers.

i had a great time at chiverton arms. the self contained unit was super comfy and clean, and i really liked how i could control the heating since it was sooo wet outside. the owners and staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food was really nice too. also, the car park was a good size, so no issues finding a spot. overall, def recommend staying here if ur in the area!
the bar area could be a bit cozier, and sometimes noise from other guests was a lil annoying.
